Hi! I am Teacher Carole ! I start my teaching career as a pre-school educator in Brighton Montessori. I work with a group of hardworking and passionate teachers. It definitley make a great head-start for me as a pre-school educator. Here I embark on a challenging yet fulfilling teaching experience.

Multi-tasking is definitely a skill I mastered in this career. I am taking my Diploma in Montessori at the same time. I learnt a lot about a child's development when I taught my N1 and N2 students.

After that, I work at Joyhouse Montessori enrichment centre with two lovely and hardworking teachers. I am exposed more to teaching phonics in an academic way and it set a good foundation for me for my path ahead.

I taught at Sunny Bunny Montessori a few years later. I am very lucky to be given the space and freedom to teach and nurture a group of kindergarten children. I am in charge of their english and mathematics education. Using the montessori method and enrichment background that I learnt before, I put my skills in use to help them. But soon, I learnt that some children are slower than the rest and are struggling to catch up. My heart goes to them.With a triple-specialization in Montessori methods, Counselling, and Information Technology, I decided that I want to provide a holistic and data-driven approach to early childhood literacy.

I got married two years after and set up my own home based classroom. It is my goal to help the students who are struggling in learning. In my classroom, no child will be left behind, and therefore I came up with this Name and Logo.

My Approach: "I bridge the gap between learning to read and loving to read. By combining Montessori materials with a counseling-informed approach, I help children move past the 'frustration' phase of phonics into true reading fluency."
